Hi everyone, my name is Michael James Rance (if you couldn’t already tell). I’m the full-time editor and writer on this lovely website/blog.
I’m an undergraduate student at DePaul University in Chicago, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science while double-minoring in Environmental Sustainability and History. I focus most of my studies on the American political system, specifically campaigns and American political history. However, I have various other academic passions including, but not limited to; international relations, military history, and environmental science.
My young professional career has been spent in a variety of professions, largely centered on political activism with experience in other fields. Over the past several years I have worked on numerous campaigns, both on a local and federal level. I’m currently working at a political consulting firm while I finish up my undergraduate studies at DePaul.
My blog is a combination of assorted writings that I have penned over the past couple of years. These include mostly personal and creative writing though there are categories devoted to personal analyses on geopolitical events and developments in the global trend towards space exploration. I’d like to think that there’s a little of enough for everyone.
Thank you so much for visiting my website, I hope you enjoy my writing and feel free to get in contact with me!
